This application is a pure study tool. We do not run user accounts, do not require sign-in, and do not store learning data on a server. Your progress, flagged questions, and settings stay on your device.

When you visit the site, our hosting provider (Vercel Inc., see below) processes technically necessary connection data such as IP address, date and time, user-agent, and the requested URL. This is required to deliver the site (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — legitimate interest in providing a functioning service).

We use your browser's local storage (localStorage, sessionStorage) and a small number of functional cookies to keep the following information on your device only:

• Selected federal state (cookie, so server and client renders agree) • Selected secondary language (cookie, same reason) • Light/dark mode (cookie + localStorage) • Flagged questions, test history, per-question accuracy stats (localStorage) • Active test session (sessionStorage, cleared when the tab closes) • Your cookie decision (cookie `lid-consent`)

None of this is sent to a server. You can clear it at any time — either via the app's settings ("Clear history") or via your browser's site-data tools.

With your consent we use Vercel Analytics for anonymous reach measurement. Only aggregated, anonymised metrics are collected (visited pages, approximate visitor counts, device class). No tracking cookies are set and no personal data is stored.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent). You can withdraw consent at any time in Settings; processing stops immediately.

The site is hosted with Vercel Inc. (address above). In the course of delivery Vercel processes the connection data described above. We have a data processing agreement with Vercel under Art. 28 GDPR.

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing of, port, and object to the processing of your personal data (Art. 15–21 GDPR). Since we do not run accounts and do not store personal data on a server, this primarily concerns the connection data held by Vercel.

You have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — for example the German Federal Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (BfDI) or your competent state authority.
